Ken Stansbury is a LPL Financial Advisor at PWM Planning, Inc. In 2007, Ken’s passion to serve others, coupled with his interest in finance, led him to become a financial advisor. He is supported by a team of seasoned professionals, allowing him to offer a broad menu of insurance, investment and employee benefit plans. Ken believes in excellent service, which allows him to maintain long-term relationships with his clients. He helps his clients protect and grow their wealth with sound insurance and investment strategies.

Ken is a University of Louisiana, Lafayette graduate where he was a member of the “Ragin’ Cajuns” football team and Judo team. He received a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix. He has a Series 7, Series 66 and a Series 24 license held with LPL Financial. In 2007, he joined the Louisiana Air National Guard and is serving as an Intelligence Officer for the 122d Air Support Operations Squadron.

In late 2014, Ken was elected to serve as a Councilman in the city of Youngsville. He continues to serve after an unopposed election in 2018. He was voted by his fellow council members to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore on February 1, 2021 for the remainder of the term.

Ken has a long history of being involved in his community. Since 2005, he has served leadership roles for the Rotary Club of Lafayette South, including President and Assistant District Governor for the Lafayette Rotary Clubs. Most recently, he was the Charter President for the Rotary Club of Youngsville. He is a past member of the LEDA Industrial Board and current member of the LEDA Board. (Lafayette Economic Development Association) He is currently serving as a board member for Goodwill of Acadiana. He is a former Chief Volunteer officer for the “Y” of Acadiana. He was a member of Leadership Lafayette in 2014 and Leadership Louisiana in 2018. Ken is a Program Pioneer for Leadership Youngsville.

Ken enjoys coaching, golfing, and has a strong passion to serve others. When he’s not with clients, you can find him spending time with his wife, Jodi, and their three children, Sophia, Ashlyn and Hudson.
